Returns whether or not the struct of type type
contains member
. If it does not, or the struct type can’t be found, then false is returned. You may optionally specify additional headers
in which to look for the struct (in addition to the common header files).
If found, a macro is passed as a preprocessor constant to the compiler using the type name and the member name, in uppercase, prepended with HAVE_
.
For example, if have_struct_member('struct foo', 'bar')
returned true, then the HAVE_STRUCT_FOO_BAR
preprocessor macro would be passed to the compiler.
HAVE_ST_BAR
is also defined for backward compatibility.
Quietly ensure the Gem
directory dir
contains all the proper subdirectories for handling default gems. If we can’t create a directory due to a permission problem, then we will silently continue.
If mode
is given, missing directories are created with this mode.
World-writable directories will never be created.
The version of Ruby
required by this gem. The ruby version can be specified to the patch-level:
$ ruby -v -e 'p Gem.ruby_version' ruby 2.0.0p247 (2013-06-27 revision 41674) [x86_64-darwin12.4.0] #<Gem::Version "2.0.0.247">
Prereleases can also be specified.
Usage:
# This gem will work with 1.8.6 or greater... spec.required_ruby_version = '>= 1.8.6' # Only with final releases of major version 2 where minor version is at least 3 spec.required_ruby_version = '~> 2.3' # Only prereleases or final releases after 2.6.0.preview2 spec.required_ruby_version = '> 2.6.0.preview2' # This gem will work with 2.3.0 or greater, including major version 3, but lesser than 4.0.0 spec.required_ruby_version = '>= 2.3', '< 4'

If the buffer is read only, meaning the buffer cannot be modified using set_value

Frozen strings and read-only files create read-only buffers.

Sends the given request req

object.
The given req
must be an instance of a subclass of Net::HTTPRequest. Argument body
should be given only if needed for the request.
With no block given, returns the response object:
http = Net::HTTP.new(hostname) req = Net::HTTP::Get.new('/todos/1') http.request(req) # => #<Net::HTTPOK 200 OK readbody=true> req = Net::HTTP::Post.new('/todos') http.request(req, 'xyzzy') # => #<Net::HTTPCreated 201 Created readbody=true>
With a block given, calls the block with the response and returns the response:
req = Net::HTTP::Get.new('/todos/1') http.request(req) do |res| p res end # => #<Net::HTTPOK 200 OK readbody=true>
Output:
#<Net::HTTPOK 200 OK readbody=false>

Version of the gem
The Requirement of the unresolved dependency (not Version).
Noop this out so there are no anchors
Performs a Gem::Net::HTTP request of type request_class
on uri
returning a Gem::Net::HTTP response object. request maintains a table of persistent connections to reduce connect overhead.

Returns true
if the process generated a coredump when it terminated, false
if not.
