Defines a method method which delegates to accessor (i.e. it calls the method of the same name in accessor). If new_name is provided, it is used as the name for the delegate method. Returns the name of the method defined.

Quietly ensure the Gem directory dir contains all the proper subdirectories. If we can’t create a directory due to a permission problem, then we will silently continue.

If mode is given, missing directories are created with this mode.

World-writable directories will never be created.

Returns a duplicate of self, in mixed mode (see Mixed Mode):

dup_table.mode # => :col_or_row
dup_table.equal?(table) # => false # It's a dup

This may be used to chain method calls without changing the mode (but also will affect performance and memory usage):

dup_table.by_col_or_row['Name']

Also note that changes to the duplicate table will not affect the original.
