Should be implemented by a extended class.
tsort_each_child
is used to iterate for child nodes of node.
Return the length of the hash value in bytes.
Return the length of the hash value (the digest) in bytes.
Digest::SHA256.new.digest_length * 8 # => 256 Digest::SHA384.new.digest_length * 8 # => 384 Digest::SHA512.new.digest_length * 8 # => 512
For example, digests produced by Digest::SHA256
will always be 32 bytes (256 bits) in size.
Disable a call to dlclose() when this handle is garbage collected.
Returns the output size of the digest, i.e. the length in bytes of the final message digest result.
digest = OpenSSL::Digest.new('SHA1') puts digest.digest_length # => 20
Replace %w+% into the environment value of what is contained between the %‘s This method is used for REG_EXPAND_SZ.
For detail, see expandEnvironmentStrings Win32 API.
Sets the preset dictionary and returns string
. This method is available just only after Zlib::Deflate.new
or Zlib::ZStream#reset
method was called. See zlib.h for details.
Can raise errors of Z_STREAM_ERROR if a parameter is invalid (such as NULL dictionary) or the stream state is inconsistent, Z_DATA_ERROR if the given dictionary doesn’t match the expected one (incorrect adler32 value)
Provide the inflate stream with a dictionary that may be required in the future. Multiple dictionaries may be provided. The inflate stream will automatically choose the correct user-provided dictionary based on the stream’s required dictionary.
Sets the preset dictionary and returns string
. This method is available just only after a Zlib::NeedDict
exception was raised. See zlib.h for details.
See Zlib::GzipReader
documentation for a description.
See Zlib::GzipReader
documentation for a description.
Returns the number of the first source line where the instruction sequence was loaded from.
For example, using irb:
iseq = RubyVM::InstructionSequence.compile('num = 1 + 2') #=> <RubyVM::InstructionSequence:<compiled>@<compiled>> iseq.first_lineno #=> 1
Iterate all direct child instruction sequences. Iteration order is implementation/version defined so that people should not rely on the order.
Sets the encoding that should be used when reading the body:
If the given value is an Encoding
object, that encoding will be used.
Otherwise if the value is a string, the value of Encoding#find(value) will be used.
Otherwise an encoding will be deduced from the body itself.
Examples:
http = Net::HTTP.new(hostname) req = Net::HTTP::Get.new('/') http.request(req) do |res| p res.body.encoding # => #<Encoding:ASCII-8BIT> end http.request(req) do |res| res.body_encoding = "UTF-8" p res.body.encoding # => #<Encoding:UTF-8> end
