This method is called when a parse error is found.

Duplicates the deflate stream.

Can raise errors of Z_STREAM_ERROR if a parameter is invalid (such as NULL dictionary) or the stream state is inconsistent, Z_DATA_ERROR if the given dictionary doesn’t match the expected one (incorrect adler32 value)

Provide the inflate stream with a dictionary that may be required in the future. Multiple dictionaries may be provided. The inflate stream will automatically choose the correct user-provided dictionary based on the stream’s required dictionary.

Returns the number of the first source line where the instruction sequence was loaded from.

For example, using irb:

iseq = RubyVM::InstructionSequence.compile('num = 1 + 2')
#=> <RubyVM::InstructionSequence:<compiled>@<compiled>>
iseq.first_lineno
#=> 1

Takes file, a String with the location of a Ruby source file, reads, parses and compiles the file, and returns iseq, the compiled InstructionSequence with source location metadata set.

Optionally takes options, which can be true, false or a Hash, to modify the default behavior of the Ruby iseq compiler.

This may be used to chain method calls without changing the mode (but also will affect performance and memory usage):

dup_table.by_col['Name']

Also note that changes to the duplicate table will not affect the original.
