Singular reader for authors. Returns the first author in the list
The list of author names who wrote this gem.

Normalize the list of files so that:
All file lists have redundancies removed.
Files referenced in the extra_rdoc_files are included in the package file list.

Convert the Cookie to its string representation.
Collapses the row into a simple Hash. Be warned that this discards field order and clobbers duplicate fields.
